Indonesia is a vast archipelagic country which consists of more than 17,000 islands. With a population of 275.77 million in 2022, Indonesia has 148,743 Primary Schools, 40,597 Junior High Schools, 13,865 Senior High Scholls, and 14,078 Vocational High Scholls. Those schools are staffed by 3.02 million teachers serving about 90.22 million students. In addition, Indonesia also has 4,422 universities, polytechnics, colleges, and other higher education institutions (BPS, 2021).
The problem we face in the education sector is the availability, affordability, and quality of learning in schools that spread throughout the country. In another hand, we are living in a global village, where we can learn from each other and collaborate with the best partners around the world easily. Therefore we founded Global Educollab to enable collaboration in the education sector to solve the problems above.
